The Department of Housing is commissioning the research and publication of a history book to celebrate the history and colonial development of the Bentley area. Specifically, this book will endeavour to encapsulate the life and experienced of the Brownlie neighbourhood and its community as it has evolved over time and including the Departments’ own role and contribution to that evolution.

Our historian will commence this research shortly, so stay tuned because we might need your help to unlock the history of the area and provide your stories and images for the book!
